About your presenter:

Denese Cavanaugh ERYT500/CPT/YACEP/Yoga Therapy enrolled

No stranger to business,  Denese became an assistant retail buyer for Ralph Lauren Corp., just  2 years after graduating with a BA over 3 decades ago.  Denese was considered a troubleshooter which lead to controlling 7 figure purchasing budgets throughout the US. Lasting 13 years is quite a feat for the fast pace  NYC lifestyle, though somehow she thrived in it. When not traveling, her circle of friends led her to marathon running, century riding, and the world of yoga. Denese married and lived between NYC and Milan for many years. Seeking a more idyllic life, she and her husband saddled down in East Hampton, NY where she opened a home accessory store on Main Street, filled with luxury home goods for her celebrity clientele. That is where she met Power Yoga author/yoga leader Beryl Bender Birch  The long distant travel took a toll on her marriage and traded Main Street and Fifth Avenue for Milan with her husband. No grass under her feet, in 2005 she opened, taught and managered her flourishing yoga studio before returning home in 2011 to the Washington DC area, now her home. A consummate entrepreneur, Denese has turned her experiences into who she is today. Still sharing her love of yoga, leading international teacher training programs, and presenting.  She still has notable clients and has even worked on yoga events with First Lady Michelle Obama. Voted “Best Yoga Teacher DC”, for two consecutive years was quite unexpected, and she is honored and grateful for her success and service to others. She founded The IPATH Method in 2009, which is her answer to serving her community with back/body pain awareness for a life of wellbeing.

Denese has invited her friend Sayonara Motta ERYT200/YACEP/Yoga Therapy enrolled,  from Milan to join this Masterclass and offer her advice and suggestions helping to understand the intricacies of being an independent entrepreneur in Europe. Sayonara will offer her experience with strategies and fiscal, marketing and other opportunites for small business. 

 Sayonara will offer her experience in the wellness, and fitness sector. Sayonara, began her fitness career in 1989 which led her to winning competitions in Brazil, her home to compete and win two World Championships and other Open competitions in Europe. Her victories created sponsorship opportunities and chosen as NIKE ambassador- a journey that began over 2 decades ago including presenting the Nike brand world wide. She started yoga in 97' while in NYC, as a way to find a mindful approach to fitness. Currently  she is a leader with the Nike training team, and developed the Yogadynamic and Yogamynd programs for Nike EU. Consultant to many businesses in Italy such as Virgin Club Nestlè, Acqua Vitasnella, Powerade, and many others,  Sayonarra parlayed her athletic know-how, world-wide Championships experience, and entrepenuer spirit,  to operate, create and own Fiteducaton School in Milan, Italy.  Sayonara and Denese had worked together at the Virgin Health Club, and in 2016, decided to collaborate to open the Devayogamynd School in Milan, offering YTT 200 and 300 RYT programs, and retreats. Always ready to discover and overcome new challenges and marketing strategies, Sayo makes herself available to her business and is excited to share that with others.
